Hi I'm Chelita, a self proclaimed fabric hoarder! With years of fabric waiting for the perfect project I figured it is time to change that! Some fabrics just does not tickle my fancy like they use to and instead of constantly buying new fabric I wished that I could just turn my current stash into something new. Surely I am not the only one. Now we have to opportunity to do just that! The swap is about bringing creatives together to save money, let go, refresh, and inspire new ideas! I can't wait to swap with you!

The DFW Fabric Swap is your chance to connect with fellow creatives, declutter your space, and discover exciting new fabrics to fuel your inspiration.
This is more than a fabric swap—it’s a celebration of creativity, community, and giving back. Whether you’re looking to trade, donate, or just explore, this event is the perfect opportunity to refresh your collection and kickstart your creativity for the new year! Proceeds will help to support local creatives and design students through our organization Sew A Seed Foundation!
What is the
Fabric Swap?
A fabric swap is a fun and innovative way to refresh your fabric stash without spending a fortune. Here’s how it works:

Bring your unused fabric to one of our designated drop-off dates.

Receive tickets based on the yardage, type, and quality of the fabric you donate.

Use your tickets to "shop" for new-to-you fabrics at the swap event.

Don’t have tickets? No problem! You can still purchase fabrics directly from the swap room.

Fabric Drop-Off:

Drop off your fabrics on one of our three designated dates.

Receive tickets based on the quality and yardage of your fabrics.

Use your tickets to “buy” new fabrics at the swap.

Power Hour Access:

Want first dibs? Purchase a Power Hour ticket for exclusive early access to the swap room before it opens to the public.

Swap & Shop:

Swap your tickets for new fabric or purchase directly from the swap room (even without tickets).

Not swapping? You can still donate fabrics to support local fashion students or contribute to our creative community.
